4811-Catch a Stunning View of Mt. Fuji and Take a Boat Ride on Japan’s Swan Lake! / 山中湖 遊覧船「白鳥の湖」

Lake Yamanaka is the largest of all the Fuji Five Lakes which offers a good view of Mt. Fuji. It is located in the village of Yamanakako of Yamanashi Prefecture populated by many swans. Thus, it has been unofficially called “Swan Lake.” Some of these swans are the real animals, others are man-made swans such as swan-like paddled boats added to the lake.

遊覧船「白鳥の湖」は、「日本一の富士の麓 山中湖に 日本一美しい白鳥を浮かばせよう」をコンセプトに、子どもからお年寄りまで老若男女を問わず楽しめるよう 従来の「プリンセス・オデット号」をリニューアルしたものです。なお、デザインは、昨年デビューした水陸両用バス「山中湖のカバ」を手掛けたデザイナー水戸岡鋭治氏によるものです。
